Coreix can offer dedicated compute resources under Coreix management in the public cloud. With dedicated hypervisors, you have the ability to expand at the hypervisor level. It is the equivalent of having entry-level private cloud resources, with expansion options to allow for dedicated storage down the line as required.
Coreix can assign Intel or AMD compute to clients with varying numbers of cores, naturally, multi-processor options are also available for high density or large scale computing.
Dedicated Storage Resources
Coreix can offer dedicated storage resources under Coreix management in the public cloud. You can choose from storage nodes with SATA, SSD or NVMe dependent upon requirements. Storage resources start at a minimum of 3 nodes due to the requirements of the Ceph.
Due to the intrinsic highly-available nature of Proxmox, storage has various constraints around safety margins and what is considered a risky practice. Coreix adopts the guidelines supplied by Proxmox and uses the safe efficiency of circa 33% which means that for every 100TB only circa 33TB is usable space. This is based on there being two replicas and a minimum of 3 nodes.
For larger deployments you can consider safe efficiencies around 40% - 48% however tho achieve this the cluster is over 20 storage nodes as a minimum.
Coreix can provide nodes with SATA, SAS, SSD or NVMe. On slower drives we can also provide caches to improve performance and achieve the IOPs you require for your business.

We can work with you to analyse your existing solutions and workloads and decide which applications and services can be scaled out horizontally in order to stabilise workloads on specific containers or virtual machines.
