Every rack benefits from A & B power feeds, with each pair of halls supported by a dedicated UPS set in a N+N configuration. In line with or passion for the environment, highly efficient UPS plant has been selected to maximize efficiency of power delivery. Standby power is provided via diesel generators that are capable of providing 72 hours of continuous power at full load capacity. This is further supplemented by fuel standby contracts to ensure continuity of supply and a rigorous service and maintenance programme. The operating environment is maintained at optimum temperature and humidity by the chilled water cooling infrastructure, delivered via a dual fed highly resilient ring circuit. Virtus power and cooling infrastructure is designed to be concurrently maintainable as per Tier III standards. All chillers and CRAC units are built on an N+1 configuration, with pumps and CRAC's deployed as part of the ‘critical load' and therefore benefiting from UPS protection in addition to standby generator provision.
