Network Infrastructure – IPv4/IPv6

Coreix Limited operates AS31708, a fully redundant BGP4 meshed network with 100% native IPv6 coverage. We take multiple circuits from various providers from multiple sites in order to guarantee service reliability and network redundancy. We utilise high availability protocols throughout its network, from the metro services down to the edge to ensure that packets are delivered to their destination successfully.

Our Juniper and Cisco powered network utilises the most advanced self-healing attributes available which allows us to deliver on our 100% infrastructure availability guarantee.

Coreix does not rely on any single connectivity provider; instead we employ multiple providers over our fully redundant fiber ring. This allows us to guarantee a 100% availability uptime accommodating for the high availability demands of our customers’ mission critical applications. The deployment of multiple connectivity providers allows us to engineer data paths and re-route data should one or more of our providers experience packet loss or downtime. Coreix’s onsite network operations centre monitors our connectivity 24x7 allowing us to identify packet loss and congestion external to our network and engineer solutions around these areas before the problem escalates.

Our passion for a premium network does not stop at the levels of redundancy built into it, we have gone out of our way to ensure we have more capacity than most other provider available to us allowing us to handle large data spikes, without any loss of service.

Network Hardware and Services

Coreix utilises Juniper M Series routers at the border for our core routing platform, Cisco Catalyst 7600 series switches in our core switching layer and distribution and Cisco 3750 series switches in our distribution layer. At our customer layer we utilize Cisco 3750, 3550 and 2900 series switches for customer access at 10/100/1000Mbps dependant upon customer requirements.

Coreix is able to offer the following networking services from AS31708:

• IPv4 and/or IPv6 Transit – Full routes/partial or default route
• Cross connects/Layer 2 transport between POPs
• Managed services, dedicated servers, colocation, secure cages and footprints

All circuits can be presented at any POP as copper at 10/100/1000Mbps or as Fiber at 1Gbps or 10Gbps where required.

Nine out of ten of the world's largest telecom carriers all continue to use Level(3) services, as do nine out of ten of the largest European telecom carriers. The company operates a 22,500 mile broadband fiber optic network in 72 US markets and 20 European markets. Level(3) is a key provider for the US market.

	VSNL International's Global Network spans across 4 continents and comprises major ownership in 206,356km of terrestrial network fiber and subsea cable. Teleglobe is a major provider and provides excellent connectivity to Asia.

	Cogent is a multinational Tier 1 Internet service provider ranked as the largest Ethernet Service Provider in the United States by Ovum-RHK and consistently ranked as one of the top five networks in the world. Coreix uses Cogent as a secondary path for the US market.

	Entanet International Ltd is a leading communications provider of business class voice and data connectivity services. Coreix utilises Entanet to broad its European network coverage. Partial transit from provides lower latency connections to destinations within Europe.
			2 x 100Mbps	Public Peering Multilateral Peering
	The London Internet Exchange (LINX) is one of the world's largest Internet Exchange Points (IXPs). IXPs allow network service providers (NSPs) to exchange their traffic under a verbal/written agreement. LINX enables us to pass off traffic directly to a provider as opposed to it having to go via a third party provider.
